For model year 1999, Ford was able to bring onto the market a completely innovative and thoroughly redesigned F series super duty pickup truck with a 7.3 Powerstroke Turbo Diesel engine. This Powerstroke Turbo Diesel truck was not only extremely handsome in its styling, but also had an extensive options list. The 2002 model year marked the high-water mark for the Powerstroke Turbo Diesel engine. Unfortunately, it was also the last year of the 7.3L diesel engine production.
